On March 4, 2012, a Sunday, all Lasallians from different parts of the Philippines and around the globe are called to converge and form the biggest Human Lasallian Star at Liwasang Ipil-Ipil, Macapagal Boulevard, Pasay City, Manila, Philippines. In celebration of the 100 years of Lasallian Presence in the Philippines and for the benefit of the One La Salle Scholarship Fund, this event is spearheaded by De La Salle University-Dasmariñas and vigorously supported by the other 16 schools of De La Salle Philippines.

Grade 7 Students Soar High in the 3rd Grand National Computer Competition

DLSZ proudly congratulates the following Grade 7 students who won in the 3rd Grand National Computer Competition held last January 21, 2012 at the Bayview Park Hotel in Manila:
- Kyle Ueda- 1st place in On the Spot Essay Writing Contest
- Bea Ylen and Therese Padilla- 2nd place in Digital Fun Card Designing Contest
- Sofia Recto, Bea Dela Fuente and Martina Serrano- 3rd place in Digital Story Making Contest
With the theme “ Green Computing for a Safe and Healthy Living”, the competition was sponsored by the Philippine Association of Junior I. T. Achievers (PAJITA).

Lasallians Bag Awards From SITO

Congratulations to Sofia Recto (DLSZ 2016) and Maria Gabriela Serrano (DLSZ 2013) for having been declared champions in two different categories during the Seton I. T. Olympiad(SITO) last January 19, 2012 held at Elizabeth Seton School in BFRV, Las Pinas City. Recto and Serrano were champions in Digital Presentation Contest and I.T. Poster Making Contest, respectively.

DLSZ Celebrates Lasallian Mentors Day on Jan. 26; Offices Closed on the same day until Jan. 27

In order to have a meaningful celebration of the Lasallian Mentors Day, all Lasallian partners of DLSZ – administrators, faculty, non-teaching personnel – will have a retreat from January 26-27, 2012 at the Carmelite Missionaries Center of Spirituality in Tagaytay City. Hence, the school will be closed on these days. All offices will resume operations on Jan. 30.
