Our community deeply mourns the passing of our beloved Lasallian Animator, Br. Cecilio Montelibano Hojilla FSC due to cardiac arrest.

His wake is now being held at the National Shrine of the Divine Child in La Salle Green Hills (LSGH) until Thursday, June 25, 2009.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, June 23, 2009, classes will be SUSPENDED and all offices will be closed to give way to all members of the DLSZ community to pay their last respects to Br. Ceci in LSGH. The DLSZ Academic Community will sponsor the 10:00 a.m. mass at the LSGH to be attended by all the administrators, faculty, ASP and staff. Buses have been arranged to wait from 8:00 to 8:15 a.m. at ATC McDo for transportation of employees coming from DLSZ to LSGH and vice-versa until noon. Employees with vehicles are encouraged to invite their colleagues to ride with them and go directly to LSGH. Those who live near LSGH may also go directly there. Immediate Heads will check the attendance at LSGH. Employees are requested to wear their Tuesday uniforms.

Parents and students are encouraged to visit the wake on their own transportation arrangements, preferably on June 23. The DLSZ Parents Association will sponsor the 3:00 p.m. mass on this day too.

The funeral mass to be attended by representatives from our school and other Lasallian institutions will be held on Thursday, June 25 at 9:00 a.m. at the LSGH followed by the interment at the De La Salle Brothers Memorial Cloister in De La Salle Novitiate in Lipa City, Batangas.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the One La Salle Scholarship Fund in honor of Br. Ceci for poor but deserving athletes are most appreciated. Donations may be made payable to the De La Salle Brothers Inc. and directly brought to LSGH or through the DLSZ President's Office.

Thank you and let us continue to pray as a community in this time of grief.
