BR. CECI M. HOJILLA FSC IS LAID TO REST ON JUNE 25, 2009

Known to his fellow Christian Brothers and friends, as well as students, alumni, parents, and employees of De La Salle schools in the Philippines, as a motivational storyteller, Br. Cecilio Montelibano Hojilla FSC was laid to rest on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the De La Salle Brothers’ Memorial Cloister, La Salle Novitiate in Lipa City, Batangas.
With the skies threatening to pour, busloads of people, whose lives he has touched, braved the roads en route to the La Salle Novitiate from the National Shrine of the Divine Child in La Salle Green Hills where the Mass of the Resurrection was earlier held. Many of them shed tears as they placed a stem of rose inside the crypt and bid their last goodbyes.With the De La Salle Brothers leading, the funeral rites were made more meaningful with the singing of Salve Regina, Honneur a Toi and the De La Salle Alma Mater Song.
