NICOLE MARIE VILLAROJO (HS 2004) IS AMONG THE TEN OUTSTANDING STUDENTS OF THE PHILIPPINES 2009

Our very own, NICOLE MARIE VILLAROJO (HS 2004), who graduated from DLSU with AB Economics and BSC Marketing Management degree in 2009, was awarded as one of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines 2009 (TOSP) at the Malacanang Palace on July 2, 2009.
Known as a born student leader with special talent in music and dance , Nicole received the prestigious St. Br. Miguel Award, the Subject Medal for Music, and the Exemplary Conduct Award during her high school graduation.Being the De La Salle University Student Council President during Academic Year 2008-2009, Nicole recieved the Gawad Mag-aaral 2008 Student Leadership Award and the Graduation Special Award for Student Leadership and Community Development.She has also represented DLSU and the country in international student gatherings, such as the Hitachi Young Leaders Initiative in Jakarta, Indonesia and the Bayer Young Environmental Envoy in Leuerkusen, Germany.Her passion for nation-building is reflected in the programs she spearheaded for the student body, most notably the Boto Lasalyano Sulong Pilipino campaign. An advocate of the environment, she is one of the proponents of the DLSU i-Recycle campaign and the zero-styro initiative.The De La Salle Zobel community is proud of her achievements and congratulates Nicole for bringing honor to her Lasallian roots.
