FAMILY LIFE WELLNESS INSTITUTE (FLWI) LECTURE SERIES

Everyone is invited to attend the third of a series of lectures sponsored by the FLWI on Friday, July 24, 2009 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the Audio Visual Room1 of the St. La Salle Bldg. The lecture, entitled “The Role of Gluten-Free Diet in Autism Intervention”, will have Dr. Monet Ramos-Acosta, a clinical nutritionist and culinary specialist, as guest speaker.The lecture will tackle the what, why, and how of gluten-free diet as an effective addition to the multi-disciplinary interventions for children with autism. Parents who use this kind of diet claim significant improvement in their children's behavior while there are those who hesitate to try it or have given up.
