ORTEZA SISTERS DOMINATE PHILIPPINE TENNIS

The three (3) Orteza sisters made their way in the national ranking in Tennis. Isabelle O. Orteza (DLSZ 2015) ranked number 2 in 12 and under girl’s category while Katrina (DLSZ 2014) ranked 4 in 14 and under category. Patricia Joy (DLSZ 2012) ranked 9 and 7 in 16 and under category and 18 and under girl’s category, respectively.

Katrina and Isabella were Finalists in the 14under Girls Doubles competition at the 75th Annual Harper Ink Memorial Junior Tournament held on March 28-April 5, 2009 at the Barnes Youth Tennis Center in San Diego, CA.

Katrina and Isabella were Champions in the 12under Girls Doubles, while Katrina was Finalist in 14under Girls Singles and Patricia Joy reached the Semifinals in the 16under Girls Singles at the Arcadia Junior Tennis Open Tournament held last April 11-19, 2009 in Arcadia, CA.

Patricia Joy also joined the Hawaii Pacific ITF tournament on May 4-8, 2009. She reached QF in the doubles competition.

Come October, Patricia Joy will be leaving for Sri Lanka to join the Sri Lanka ITF tournament scheduled on Oct 5-11, 2009. This November, Patricia and Katrina will join the Philippine ITF tournament at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center while all three will join the PCA tournament.
