DLSAA HOLDS COOKING DEMO FOR ONE LA SALLE SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The De La Salle Alumni Association (DLSAA) Committee for Chapters invites everyone to "Culinary Adventures" featuring Jerms Estrada (DLSU Com’81), a Certified Culinary Instructor and Personal Chef belonging to the American Personal and Private Chef Association. The event will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2009, at Doris Magsaysay Ho’s Magsaysay Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA) located at Waltermart Mall (corner Pasay Road and Pasong Tamo) in front of Don Bosco, Makati from 4 – 6pm.
Based now in San Francisco, California, Jerms is not only a full time banker but also an avid photographer and passionate chef. Here in Manila on vacation, Jerms is conducting the Cooking Demo to help raise funds for the One La Salle Scholarship Fund. He will showcase a full menu of exciting and innovative dishes with wine pairings. This event provides an opportunity for La Sallians and friends to get together in an intimate setting and raise funds for the benefit of the One La Salle Scholarship Fund. There are seventeen (17) Lasallian schools scattered all over the Philippines, and the La Salle Brothers, recognizing that education is a great equalizer of opportunities for our less fortunate countrymen, have launched an initiative to increase scholarships to 20% of total student population.
We hope you’ll join us in this unique event. Tickets are at P1,000 each inclusive of food and wine tasting, beverages and a recipe packet.
