AUXILIARY SERVICES AND FACILITIES
GUIDANCE OFFICE - The guidance program is geared towards the maximum development of each student as an individual through the cooperation of the significant others in his/her total environment (e.g., the school, the home, and the community). It’s services include interviews, counseling, consultation, referrals, information, training, placement, individual inventory and follow-ups. Each level is assigned a full-time counselor.
St. Joseph Building CAMPUS MINISTRY OFFICE - The CMO is the heart of the Lasallian Formation Program. It complements classroom instruction and civic action programs by involving students in activities such retreats and recollections, regular masses and other spiritual pursuits.
SOCIAL ACTION OFFICE - The Social Action arm of the Lasallian Formation program that translates into action the knowledge gained in the classroom through exposure to various outreach activities conducted with partner communities. It also develops the learner’s zeal for service by discovering, experiencing and witnessing the life of youth-at-risk and the marginalized sectors in the community.
Learning Resource Center THE LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER - The LRC is a pool of auxiliary services made available to support and enrich classroom instruction. The Center is composed of the print section (Library) which consists mainly of print materials such as books, magazines, newspapers, journals; and the non-print section which consists of materials such as films, filmstrips, CD-ROMs, VHS, DVD, tape recorders, multimedia projectors, OHPs, record players, instructional games and toys and teacher-made materials.
DLSZ Wireless Network Access Point INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY SERVICES OFFICE - The ISTS serves the Information Technology (IT) requirements of the school by providing a wide range of IT systems and services. It aims to increase efficiency and productivity through the use of IT in all of the school's operation processes. The ISTS provides the following services: Technical Support, Network Services, Information Systems Development, Computer Lab Management, Computer Software and Hardware Management, and other services (e.g. notebook rentals, ID processing and printing, image scanning).
DLSZ IPA Personnel INSTRUCTIONAL AND PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT - A unit in school that conducts institutional testing and measurement aimed at providing information on student abilities and achievement. Results may be shared with the teachers for the improvement of instruction and to the parents who can extend the needed help to their children at home.
INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE - Provides a venue for constructive interaction among the members of the Zobel community. It responds to the development needs of the various stakeholders in the area of communication, information dissemination and public relations carried out mainly through the print media.
Main Clinic CLINIC. A doctor and a nurse are on duty every school day at both the main clinic and the extension unit located in Division 1. The clinic responds to emergency cases with the help of the Lifeline Arrows Ambulance Rescue. It also provides first aid and minor treatment to students and employees needing medical attention on school days. The conduct of an annual medical check-up is also part of the functions of the school clinic.
DLSZ Canteen CANTEEN. The school canteen serves snacks during mid-morning recess and lunch at noontime. Students who bring their own lunch may eat in the canteen. The motto "Clean As You Go" (CLAYGO), is strictly observed.
DLSZ School Bus BUS SERVICE: Parents may arrange for transport service for their children through the LTO -accredited school service managed by private concessionaires. The list of providers is available at the office of the Director for Administrative Services.
Angelo King Center for Performing Arts THE ANGELO KING CENTER FOR PERFORMING ARTS: This facility houses the Sylvia P. Lina Theater and the instrumental and practical music rooms such as the orchestra, violin, piano, rondalla, band and the chorale room.
DLSZ Cyber Nook CYBERNOOK SECTION - The Center provides Internet access and CD-ROM stations. Teachers bring their students to the Cyber Nook Section of the LRC for research and to carry-out lessons aided by information derived from the internet.
DLSZ Computer Aided Instruction Lab E-CLASSROOM - The E-classroom is used by the teachers for their Learner Centered Learning Environment (LCLE) classes. Materials for computer-aided instruction are available in this LRC classroom.
